Our boxwood items are made of a realistic malleable plastic that has a great deal of flexibility and "movement" within it.  It is not a hard, rigid, scratchy plasic found elsewhere in hobby craft stores.  A boxwood made from a fabric material will no doubt start to fray and fade due to the small size of the leaves.  If you brush against our boxwood, it will behave and feel exactly like it's fresh counterpart.
